Oak Creek RV Resort FAQ

Do you offer Wifi? Is it free?

Yes, we have Wifi available at our resort. We offer a 3-day complimentary service with basic speeds, perfect for checking emails or surfing the web. If you would like to upgrade your internet speeds you can select our premium service.

What are your rates?

Our rates are based on length of stay, the size of the space, amenities at each site, and location within the resort. Reserve online or phone toll-free: 1-866-916-1318.

Do you offer full hook-ups?

Each of our spaces offers; water, sewer, cable tv, 30/50 amp electric. Extended stay rates are plus metered electric.

What is your cancellation/reservation change policy?

Daily/Weekly Reservations: Notify the resort of changes/cancellations within 24 hours of arrival or a one-night minimum charge will be billed. This is no fee for reservation changes and cancellations made before the 24-hour window.
Holiday Reservations: Notify the resort of changes/cancellations within 72 hours of arrival or a three-night minimum charge will be billed. This is no fee for reservation changes and cancellations made before the 72-hour window.
Monthly Reservations: Notify the resort of changes/cancellations within 10 days of arrival or your security deposit will be forfeited. This is no fee for reservation changes and cancellations made before the 10-day window.

Do you have pull-thru spaces? Can you accommodate a 45ft rv?

Yes. We have a limited number of spaces available. As the demand is very high, we do not offer extended stay rates on these sites. However, we do have many very large spaces that we offer our extended stay visitors.

Do you have group rates?

Yes. We can accommodate groups up to 10-12 RV’s. We offer a scaled contract based on the number of RV’s reserved. We offer a club room, kitchen, and other great amenities to serve your group.

Are you close to San Diego?

The resort is located in East County. We are conveniently located off the I-8 freeway which leads directly to the beach areas. Most major attractions are 20-25 minutes away.

Are you close to shopping and dining?

Yes. There are several local restaurants within 2 minutes. Grocery stores and major retailers such as Wal-mart are about 10 minutes away.

Do you accept pets? Is there restrictions?

Yes. We are pet-friendly. We supply pet waste bags. We also offer a pet run area at the front of the resort. We do limit each site to 2 pets per site and do not allow any aggressive breeds. A complete list of pet rules is available upon check in.

Do you have pool?Is it heated?

Yes. We offer both a heated pool and spa for your year round enjoyment. The pool deck is surrounded by beautiful landscaping.

When is check in time? Check out time?

Check in time is 1 p.m.. Check-out is 12 noon. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee.

Do you have restrictions on type of rv?

Yes. All RV’s must be fully self-contained, and are subject to an exterior inspection upon arrival. The rv must be clean, rust free, no broken windows, and if motor powered running. Tarps on roofs, and other modifications are strictly prohibited. The resort has a complete list of rules and regulations on file for your review. Sorry, no tent camping.

Can I have a campfire?

Unfortunately no. Local City ordinance does not allow this for your safety with RV’s and propane gas in the vicinity. However, barbecues are welcome.

Are you a membership resort? How long can I stay?

No. We are non-membership,non-ownership. We offer daily, weekly, and extended stay rates. There are no restrictions on your length of stay.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer 10% discounts off of our daily rate for; Good Sam, and Active duty military. We offer Passport America rates for a 3-day maximum when available. A valid ID card must be presented at check-in to obtain these discounts. Offers may not be combined and do not apply to any other discounted rates.

Can I reserve a specific site?

The only way to reserve a specific space is to pay for it starting and checking in today. We can note it as a request but do not guarantee specific spaces.

Do you have a laundry facility?

Yes. We have a spotlessly clean laundry that is right on site for your convenience.

Do you offer rv storage?

No, we do not offer any RV storage. Please check out our sister site Vacationer RV for storage.

How do I get there? Directions?

East Bound I-8: Exit #23 Lake Jennings. At stop sign go straight onto Olde Highway 80 for 2.4 miles. Turn left at Oak Creek Rd Resort on left. West Bound I-8: Exit #27 Dunbar, go right on Dunbar, make immediate left on Olde Highway 80 for 1.4 miles, right on Oak Creek Rd. Resort on Left.

Do you have casino's close by?

We have 3 large casinos within 20 minutes of the resort. Sycuan Casino is 10 miles from the resort. Barona Casino is 11 miles from the resort. Viejas Casino is 9 miles from the resort.

Do you offer rentals?
